Members of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators will represent Destination Uganda at the Ferienmesse in Bern, with participation coordinated and sponsored by the Uganda Mission to the Swiss Confederation as part of Uganda’s tourism promotion and economic diplomacy in Switzerland.

The Ferienmesse is one of Switzerland’s most recognized public travel exhibitions, attracting thousands of travelers seeking inspiration for their next holiday. The expo brings together international tourism boards, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and tour operators to showcase destinations and experiences from across the world.

For Uganda, participation offers an opportunity to promote the country’s diverse tourism offerings, including gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris, cultural experiences, and community-based tourism initiatives.

Members of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators will engage with travel enthusiasts, industry partners, and potential buyers interested in exploring Uganda as a destination.

Through this platform, exhibitors can present travel packages, build partnerships with European travel professionals, and strengthen Uganda’s visibility in the Swiss outbound travel market. The participation coordinated by the Uganda Mission to the Swiss Confederation also reflects ongoing efforts to position Uganda as a competitive and sustainable destination in the global tourism landscape.
